The sixth day of my #BlogchatterA2Z journey presented a significant challenge, as there are very few Bengali films that begin with the letter "F." This is largely because, in Bengali, the "F" sound isn't commonly used; words that start with the letter ফ are pronounced as "Ph" instead. The only exception is the slang term "Fatafati."  I was only able to find two contemporary Bengali films that start with "F": one is "Fatafati," and the other is "F.I.R." After focusing on serious and thought-provoking films for the past five days, I decided to take a lighter approach today, making "F" atafati the perfect choice. What is more important: "Love" or "Companionship"? On the fifth day of my #BlogchatterA2Z journey, I plan to explore this significant question by reviewing the recently released film, "E" i Raat Tomar Amar , directed by Parambrata Chatterjee . Synopsis Amar and Jayita are an elderly couple, with Jayita currently undergoing treatment for cancer. Amar has taken on the role of her caregiver. On the fourth day of the exciting 26-day Blogchatter A to Z challenge, I have chosen to review the film Dutta vs Dutta , a semi-autobiographical work by Anjan Dutt , a multifaceted talent in Bengali cinema. Synopsis   Biren is an unsuccessful lawyer leading an unhappy life within a highly dysfunctional joint family. His son, Rono , studies at a boarding school, while his daughter, China , initially has an affair with the much older Ghenti Kaku (who is also in a romance with Rita). Later, she elopes with a Naxalite leader named Khoka Da . Biren’s wife, Rita , struggles with alcoholism. Today, on the third day of the Blogchatter A to Z Challenge, I have chosen to review the Bengali film Cinemawala . Directed by Kaushik Ganguly, this film has been widely praised for its thought-provoking subject matter. Synopsis Pranabendu , an ageing man, owns a single-screen cinema hall called Kamalini , which has long since passed its glory days and is now closed. His attachment to the old projectors in this digital age is the reason for its shutdown. Today, on the second day of the A to Z challenge, I am choosing the film Buno Haansh as the subject of my review. Directed by Anirudhha Roy Chowdhury (known for Pink ), the film is based on a book by acclaimed author Samaresh Majumdar.
