Welcome to Our Chocolaty Blog Factory #BlogchatterBlogHOp
Being a Gemini is like living a life with a twin. Often, my left brain and right brain start a conversation with each other. Today, on Chocolate Day, as usual, they had something to talk about, so sharing a brief of their conversation:
Left brain: Today is World Chocolate Day? What is the song that comes to your mind when you hear the word chocolate?
Right Brain: Chocolate, Lime Juice, Ice cream, Toffee-iya, pehle jaise ab mere shauk hai kaha
Left brain: What movie does the word remind you of?
Right Brain? Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Left Brain: Now combine both.
Right: Ah...Willy Wonka singing, Chocolate, Lime Juice....
Both: Let's play Willy Wonka today
Hello, my dear guests, hope you are doing great this chocolaty day. ( odd pause)
Let me take you on a tour of my chocolate factory, aka my blog: memoviesmore.in
Interestingly, I don't have any other workers commissioned to build my factory and its contents. I do it all alone, from manufacturing, production, packaging and marketing -it's all my job. My daughter, Aishani, sometimes contributes by taking amazing pictures for the blog.
Now you all must be eager to know what all chocolates my factory produces:
Milk Chocolate
The primary contents are facts about me. The creator, brain, OG of the blog, the Milk Chocolate. The kind of content that talks about my life, likes, preferences and myself. You will find my routines, my thoughts, what I am doing at the moment and much information about me.
White Chocolate
I was surprised to hear that apart from my daughter, some of her friends are also regular readers of my blog. So, I try to come up with content that is exclusively meant for them- my little guests of honour. Those contents are the sweet and sugary White Chocolates.
That's my daughter at the back
Fruit & Nut ChocolateSometimes I like to write about my travels, well, sometimes, and very rarely, if I feel like it. These are the rare and exotic Fruit & Nut chocolate varieties featured on my blog. A bit of pistachio, some flakes of almonds, or some dried raspberry. Not much, but enough to make it delicious.
Gourmand Chocolates
This is my favourite kind that includes my posts about films and music. Good movies, web series, music, almost like digging into rich caramel-coated balls or sea salt-glazed bars.
Dark Chocolates
The more serious topics about humanity, social issues, education and other subjects that require a bit of questioning, reasoning, and justification. This is my zone of Dark Chocolates. Sometimes bitter, often unpleasant, but real, raw and authentic.
The Assortment
If someone asks me what kind of chocolate I prefer, huh, I am Willy Wonka, and this is my factory. I like each and every variety of chocolate I produce here. Because what I create here comes from my love for creating. This can be found in my short stories and poems, which are an amalgamation of all the above content types, presented in a box. My fiction and poems are the content that are the closest to my heart, and if you really want to get a flavour of my Chocolate Factory, you have to taste The Assortment.
Now that we have completed our tour, we request that you share the address of my chocolate blog factory with your friends. Hope they will enjoy our chocolates too.
Good Night for now.
Hope to see you soon
Willy Wonka
(Reubenna Dutta)
P.S. My brain is resting right now. Both left and right, I mean.

What a chocolaty, witty post, summarising the contents of your blog in the form of chocolates! Loved it!
ReplyDeleteChocolate is my weakness Reubenna. I used to eat all kinds but now its only dark chcocolate, which you didnt mention :) I really love your fiction pieces.
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one who sang that song with full swing while reading this blog "Chocolate, Lime Juice, Ice cream, Toffee-iya, pehle jaise ab mere shauk hai kaha?"
ReplyDeleteAnd now I am craving chocolates. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a deliciously clever way to introduce your blog! The left-brain/right-brain Gemini banter had me smiling, and as a Gemini, I can very well relate to it. Willy Wonka would be proud of this factory.
ReplyDeleteLoved the creative concept behind this post. This made me smile. Such a sweet and enjoyable start. Looking forward to more.
ReplyDeleteYou gave a whole new dimension to the meaning of chocolate day. Indeed interesting and equally entertaining. Perfect enough to set the mood of any person. Creativity matters to make a simple content read outstanding and you have that skill. Belated Chocolate day to you.
