It was a pleasure to read Buildit by Albinder Singh Dhindsa, the founder of Blinkit. The book tells the story of how he has built Blinkit, which has grown into a trusted Home delivery app in a matter of a few years.

About the Author

Albinder Singh Dhindsa founded Blinkit in 2014, which was then called Grofers. Sailing through tough competition and challenges, he has built a trusted brand used by millions of people today.

Buildit is not only about how Blinkit has established itself as one of the most used apps, but also about the elaborate steps and the strong foundation that were in place before the brand launched.



Review of Buildit by Albinder Singh Dhindsa

The book starts with the author's student days and his jaw-dropping initial arrival in the USA for his studies. The consumer-centric market over there, with everything imaginable and unimaginable available, piqued his interest in exploring more. From leaving his secure job and returning to India with dreams and aspirations to do something for consumers, the author has shared his experience in great detail. How he started with Grofers, faced many challenges, yet never lost his vision. 

The book is a great guide for those who want to think big and try to invest in startups. It will help them navigate the competitive world and find the niche they would like to enter.

Every year, before the onset of Durga Puja, readers of Bengali literature receive some precious gifts in the form of the Sharadiya Pujabarshiki (Yearly Literary Magazine). For the past 70 years or so, we have seen some outstanding works from the Creme' of Bengali literature like Samaresh Basu, Sunil Ganguly, Shirshendu Mukherjee, Ashapurna Devi and many others being published in these magazines for the first time. Mushy Mushrooms, Mini Macaroons & 5 Whodunnit Murder Mysteries to Watch on My Breakfast Plate

As the mother of a fourth-grade student, my mornings start at 5:30 a.m. daily. Making breakfast and setting up lunchboxes keep me occupied during those hours and since I like to keep it simple for breakfasts, they generally get quite boring, with either bread toasts or chapattis. (common story of a lot of moms).
