"B" for "Break"

Their hands brushed against each other, evoking memories of earlier times. The sea, with its enormous waves, stirred up thoughts of the past. They used to spend long, lazy evenings at this very spot, lost in conversation for hours. However, the weight of their responsibilities gradually diminished these outings until, one day, they came to a complete stop. They didn’t even realise when it happened; it just did. But today, with their children away at a picnic, they finally had a chance to be alone together after more than a decade, even if only for a few hours. This was their moment, an opportunity to focus on nothing but each other.
