You in My Pain & Happiness #Blogaberrycc
You in My Pain
I looked at you with swollen eyes,
Trying to reason my feelings.
When you cut all old ties,
And any sort of dealings.
Standing there, with bloated pride,
All the spotlight, on your side.
Leaving me here lonely and broken,
With memories of your love as a token.
Then the nights of cry and darkness
Can they ever reach you through your fortress?
Once, you gave me reason to live,
Now you are my reason to grieve.
This loneliness, pity and isolation,
Is it your love's consolation?
Or is it something forbidden?
And maybe I was the one you got off, ridden.
You in My Happiness
Here you are, there again,
With a smile, I had never forgotten.
Standing like a king before me,
This was supposed to happen; it's destiny.
Happy feelings have started to bloom,
Freeing me from moments of gloom.
Relieving all pains from within,
I have taken an oath to begin.
Today I have realized, finally,
You were not the one who left me lonely.
You were not the reason for my pain,
It was just the days of storm and rain.
That clouded my mind and thought,
Leaving me thirsty, in a burning draught.
But those days of storm I have overcome,
To find you, still there, in my own home.
