Shakti Club Golden Jubilee Day Celebration #Blogaberrycc

The importance of being a part of a strong and tied community is undeniable. Just as I am grateful and fortunate to be a part of a powerful blogging community online, my social life bonding has found meaning with my ties with Shakti Club- an incredibly active Women's Club for the talented women of IIT Bombay ( non-students ). In 2025 Shakti Club completed its 50 glorious years of fabulous work, including various fund raising activities for destitute and underpivileged children. Amidst these social activitities we, at Shakti Club also make sure to celebrate various cultural activities and social get-togethers. Our motto of "Work hard and party harder" has taken us a long way and the 50th Anniversary day marked the celebratory landmark of our achievements through various cultural activities. Today I will elaborate on the Fashion shows that I was proud to be a part of, on that particular day.


India, a land of Unity in Diversity is the biggest democracy, a harmony of varied culture, food, and customs followed by various corners of the nation- united we stand amidst all our differences. This was the theme of the Fashion show of that day.  8 of us, represented 8 states of India, along with 8 specific cultural features. Starting from Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh in the North to Maharashtra, Gujarat in the West to Bengal in the East and Telengana in the South- we covered the whole of India. 



The event concluded with our final fashion show- an amalgamation of various insects, depicting Ecodiversity and its impact on our Mother Nature. The stage was adorned with colourful outfits self-designed by us as we represented various insects like dragonfly, butterfly, moth, honeybee and ladybug. The showstopping fashion event of the day conveyed a deeper meaning through the vivid bright hues that each one of us had so much fun wearing and walking.


The day was truly celebratory and inspiring. Our fashion show not only entertained the audience, it left an everlasting impact with some valuable messages. The impactful Golden Jubilee Celebration day of Shakti Club was glorified by the presence of distinguished guests, including the wife of the Director of IIT Bombay, Mrs. Jahnavi Kedare.

Top 5 Films Based on Communal/Civil Wars and Internal Feuds

A couple of days back I watched a film, only to get a headache and I forgot its name too. But still, I watched it, some people won't change. Will they? Like nations in continuous wars and internal feuds -God knows what they get out of it. War has not done good for anyone ever. "Myself Bakul from Baroda." A 30 something man approached Brenda. She was startled by the man's attire. She had never seen so many colours on a man before.
