Moulded From A Mole and a Few Motivational Songs

Image
A few of my activities may appear overly dramatic, but if the world wants to project drama onto you, you end up being one. I am by no means a pessimist; I have been mindfully practising gratitude, but every emotion has an expiry date tagged to it. We may disagree to agree, but can't run away from our internal world that keeps on probing and nudging, till we actually accept.  Suppose we are trying to be positive and filter out the best from any bad situation. In that case, the universe can provide the strength and resilience up to a certain level, which can aid in maintaining that level of positivity for some time. But how long? So, imagine you are happy and content after attending a wedding, and you return to the valet parking. After leaving the venue, you realise that your car's internal parts are pulled out and hanging in the form of wires. You know the universe had accompanied you to the wedding, leaving the vehicle unattended, at the mercy of the Valet driver, whose intenti...

An Ode To December with 2 Poems

An Ode To December While the mercury fluctuates and treads its own path with its free will, The poison in the air crumbles the hope of another clean winter, We still welcome you. December, come with your beauty, your cool, your calm. Shower us with your love and a clean, breezy winter. We will embrace you and immerse in you! Bring us that hope, that joy. Video games were there, but not to the same extent as they are now, with their overwhelming presence everywhere. Instead of getting into the "God-knows-what" world of Roblox, kids used to play with real bricks to build castles and houses. In place of today's obsession with spending hours scrolling through shorts and reels, they used to spend hours playing outdoors. They used to find joy in real things, rather than getting lost in the virtual reality jungle. I still recall one of the most memorable winter activities: a visit to the circus. And recently, when I came across a couple of circuses that had been camped in various parts of the city, I could not resist my temptation. I immediately booked the tickets for the 4 pm show on Sunday.  Why Circus? The circus is one of the most innocent sources of visual entertainment. We can see, observe and learn from i...
