4 Thrillers Released this Year that I Watched

Image
I had been concentrating more on watching old movies these days, so there were very few newly released films that I could manage to watch. Today I am going to write about 4 of these films. 1. Follow : This film is about a con artist who follows and traps rich women with his charm and then runs away with their money. One night, as he is about to retire, he meets with an accident and has a chance meeting with a woman, which changes his entire life. This is an underwhelming thriller that could have been much better. Somewhere, the thrill fails to create any stir of curiosity and often falls flat.  2. Drop : This is a good one-time watch film, where a widowed mother, with a traumatic past, tries dating, but is tormented constantly by someone over her phone, where she is instructed to carry out an atrocious task to save his son, back at home. The suspects are way too many, starting from his date to the piano player at the restaurant. This is a gripping thriller, and it would not...

6 Stages of My Relationship with Sports

Image
My relationship status with sports is complicated. While it has been prolonged, it has never felt profound. I've always been surrounded by sports in some way, but I've never truly been invested in them. To illustrate the varying degrees of my connection with sports, I've decided to outline different phases of my life, each revolving around my experiences with sports. 1. As a Toddler: Like any average toddler, my early years included occasional visits to parks, where I played with other kids and enjoyed the rides. This fun era ended with a disastrous fall from a cane stool, as I was perhaps testing my skills as a budding gymnast. The result? A blood-soaked chin that required seven stitches. That was the end of my dreams of becoming a gymnast. 2. Early Childhood: If cycling can be considered a sport, I certainly have a history with it, too. On the very first day of my training, my foot got trapped in the spokes of the wheel for some inexplicable reason, resulting in another ...

Top 5 Movies to Watch on Teacher's Day

Image
It's been a while since I last wrote about movies. I thought I would take the opportunity of September 5th, Teacher's Day, to share my thoughts on a few films that have inspired me greatly. There was a time when I relied on IMDb ratings to curate my movie watchlist. However, I've recently discovered some incredible films that haven't received high ratings from popular movie review sites like IMDb or Rotten Tomatoes. As a result, I've decided to focus on watching and sharing films I find inspiring and that convey positive messages, regardless of their ratings. Today, I have compiled a list of Top five inspiring films about teachers and students that are sure to leave a lasting impact. Top 5 Inspiring Movies to watch on Teacher's Day 1. To Sir, with Love:  The first time I watched this movie, I couldn't stop thinking about it. This 1967 film, starring Sidney Poitier, is adapted from the autobiographical best-seller of the same name. It tells the st...

The Royal Guard

Image
Do you have some time to spend with me? You might be wondering if this is a dream. Perhaps it is, or perhaps it isn’t! But does it really matter? What matters is that I am talking to you. Hello, I’m Rupert Cat — the Royal Guard . Don’t be surprised; I am the best fit for this role. I am a mix of some of the most exotic cats out there—my mother is a Royal Persian , and my father is a tough and brave Abyssinian . My adorable and furry exterior, inherited from my mother, is just a camouflage for my courageous and rugged self, traits I’ve gained from my father.  My bravery, charisma, fighting spirit, and high self-esteem make me the ideal candidate for the position of Royal Guard. Do you know what I am guarding in this palace? It is the most precious of all treasures: the Magical Artefact —a blessing that the earliest Monarch received from one of his Guardian Angels . The magical powers of this artefact allow it to fulfill any wish, provided you touch it and ask from your true and pure...
