Be Kind to Yourself  & Take Up Challenges for Your Betterment

As I always say, nowadays, I have been neglecting myself for the longest time. And it resulted in the deterioration of my physical and mental health simultaneously. Right now, I prioritize myself over everyone else.

What's the use of everything if I am not there to enjoy


Being kind to myself is not a choice; it is a necessity. I am a very simple person with a simple life. However, challenges attract me a lot. I have chosen to take up reading and writing challenges to grow as an individual. I enjoy doing it. Having said so, I have advised myself to keep on doing what I like doing and what I feel is making me happy. Kindness is an important aspect of our lives; however, being kind to myself is the most important factor in happiness. My advice is to be determined and keep on doing the work that is best for me. Not every day will be the same and give us results. There will be ups & downs and a lot of failures. But we should be strong & resilient enough to accept & withstand that. Then, move ahead with zeal and zest. 

So, this month, I have decided not to write about the weekly movie blog post I have been doing for the past year. Considering my daughter's upcoming final exams, that would have been too much for me to take up this month. 

I have taken up a few challenges for my physical well-being, which I will reveal in a separate blog post if it at all works. Challenges like these make me excited but not overwhelmed. So, I will keep doing things but not overburden myself.
