5 Courtroom Dramas to Watch

Image
Courtroom Dramas have been an integral part of Hollywood since the 50s. There are iconic films that belong to this genre. Movies like 12 Angry Men, Kramer vs Kramer and A Few Good Men have greatly impacted movie history. These movies ranged from book adaptations to real-life incidents. Those who like watching action-oriented and fast-moving films may find courtroom dramas boring. These movies deliver a lot of powerful and reasonable dialogues that have been remembered by the audience for long. I have listed a few courtroom dramas from our time that we have loved watching. 1. Primal Fear: One of the best courtroom dramas I have ever watched is this 1996 film starring Richard Gere and Edward Norton in his Golden Globe-winning role. Gere stars as Martin Vail, a high-profile lawyer who has made a name for himself by running for notorious gangsters and criminals. I am leading a very simple life and the only entertainment I indulge in is my dose of movies. An addict or not, I love watching films from various genres. Recently, I have watched a few very popular films for the first time that were released long back. I wish I had watched these gems before, but better late than never. So, here are the films. 1. Mother!: (Fantasy)No wonder this 2017 film was the work of the same director, Darren Aronfsky, whose creative brilliance startled us in "Requiem for a Dream."While watching the film I wondered if it was depicting the mental and psychological abuse of a housewife. It can be interpreted in that way however upon reading few prior reviews and a thorough observation led me to realize that it is actually the Bible depicted in a Fantasy story. I used to be a romantic movie fan but later lost interest in that genre. So, I am not aware of the recent romantic movies, especially those released after 2010.  However, this year, I am feeling like rewatching the ones I once enjoyed watching. So, here are the top 5 movies that I would love to rewatch on Valentine's Day: 1. P.S. I Love You:  I know I know, cliché but can't help, I have read the book and watched the 2007 movie so many times during those times when it was released. However, I almost forgot about it but today while writing this post, I could not stop myself from keeping it at no.1. Hillary Swank and Gerard Butler - how wonderful they looked together! Well, I gotto watch it, like really. 2. The Notebook : Another hot favourite of romantic movie lovers is this 2004 film

A happy Hippo hopped & hiccupped Tongue twisters have been an integral part of grammar and vocabulary books for a long time. The history where it began is quite interesting. Well, it started with a woman called Mary Anning who used to live in 19th Century England. She made money by selling shells to wealthy people and originated the tongue twister, " She sells seashells on the seashore", which was popularized with a song in 1908. According to MIT researchers, the toughest tongue twister is said to be "Pad kid poured curd pulled cod". However, according to the Guinness Book of World Records the crown goes to " The sixth sick sheik's sixth sheep's sick." No matter what is the toughest tongue twister, it has been proved that they can have a significant role to improve the English vocabulary and pronunciation. Top 5 Benefits of Practicing Tongue Twisters: 1. Helps to learn new sounds: It is said that tongue twister helps to stretch out the speech
